Although nearly everyone had numerous training sessions on "Lean Thinking & Tools" provided by external consulting firms or the in-house consulting group Moveahead still encounters many “blind spots” with well educated client personnel.
"Blind spots" are knowledge gaps or misunderstood zusammenhänge that the single person has not self identified yet, thus believing to know everything needed. Depending on the position of that person these "unknown" knowledge gaps can be critical regarding a successful implementation of Lean as tools can be applied in a wrong way leading to frustration during and after the implementation when results stall back to the old levels.
To help identifying these gaps we have designed a self assessment test on lean & operational knowledge. With the results of that test it is possible to choose the appropriate training sessions laid out in the knowledge navigator. This test can also be done by several actually equally qualified persons to see differences in their understanding and knowledge of tools. If differences are too high, a basic training session to bring everyone on the same level is recommended before taking on advanced topics.
