MOVEAHEAD© is a unique lean consulting firm based in Munich, Germany. We support companies in their efforts to achieve operational excellence by providing expert consulting and executive education services.

Moveahead was founded in 2003 to fill a growing need for affordable top management consulting at small and medium-sized companies, especially the need for capable resources to lead an organization through the obstacles of lean transformation / lean implementation and change.

Our second service line, executive education, addresses the growing need for efficient, customized and well-structured "state of the art" knowledge transfer to key employees to improve one of a company's most important assets – employee capability & motivation.

We cooperate with experienced lean experts / consultants who join our consulting projects as needed.

Moveahead is Christian Klock, a lean expert and previous top management consultant who has more than twelve years of industry and consulting experience.

Mr. Klock spent more than two years as production manager and in-house consultant at BTR-automotive in the USA, transforming the US-based manufacturing facilities towards lean manufacturing. Thereafter, he joined Porsche Consulting to serve as a lean manufacturing consultant. During this time, he had the great opportunity to learn from the source of lean manufacturing thinking, the well-known Japanese consultants of Shingijutsu. Mr. Klock then joined McKinsey where he served as a practice consultant / lean manufacturing expert for McKinsey’s global manufacturing practice, helping clients around the world to achieve operational excellence.

He is a founding member of the Mass Customization Institute.
